Who we are

This site is operated by IT Warehouse (CVR 38348868), Denmark. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at hello@itwarehouse.com.

What data we collect

What you type into the contact form: your name, email, company (optional), and message. Submitting the form opens it in your own email application, addressed to hello@itwarehouse.com. We don't run a server that stores or processes that data, it goes directly through your email provider like any email you send.

Basic visit analytics: which pages you view and roughly how long you spend on each, so we understand which parts of the site are actually useful. This site doesn't have accounts and doesn't set cookies, this analytics included, it uses your browser's session storage for a random id that's cleared as soon as you close the tab, not a cookie that persists or follows you across visits.

We also derive an approximate location (country and city) from your IP address at the moment you visit, so we know roughly where visitors are coming from. We don't store the IP address itself, only the location it resolves to.

Third-party services

This site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. Loading a font, like loading any resource from another server, shares your IP address with that server. Google's own policies govern what happens to that request; we don't receive or store it ourselves.

To derive the approximate location described above, your IP address is briefly sent to ip-api.com's lookup service at the moment you visit. We don't control their retention, but we never receive or store the IP address itself, only the resulting country and city.

Data retention

Since contact-form submissions are sent from your own email client and never touch our servers, we don't hold a copy unless you email us, in which case it's retained like any other business correspondence, for as long as we need it to respond to you and no longer than is reasonable.

Visit analytics (page, approximate duration, country/city) are kept only long enough to be useful for understanding site usage, and are never linked back to a name, email, or IP address in the first place.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it's used. Email hello@itwarehouse.com and we'll respond. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Children

This site is a business-to-business marketing site and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
